I would like to thank you for the opportunity to apply for this social media internship. My name is Ava Fajardo, I am an upcoming 2025 high school graduate. In my four years at San Lorenzo Valley High School I have been dedicated to creating art and developing my art skills. Through this I have gained the ability to design websites so that I can display my art portfolio. Designing my own websites for art class has made me proficient in platforms such as Wix, Pinterest, and Instagram.

Because I grew up in a generation where social media is extremely prominent, I have a good understanding of trending styles and content creation. I am a very social person, so community engagement is not an issue for me, and I am good at staying up to date with popular social media trends and innovative ideas.

I have always had a passion for all sorts of art, and I enjoy making things visually appealing. The four years I dedicated to art classes I spent participating in critiques with my peers, which has improved my communication skills. Hearing others’ opinions motivates me to make any necessary changes, and allows me to see my work from a different perspective, making me open to constructive criticism. I have also developed a good method of brainstorming, which I use to come up with ideas for my artwork.
